There are some things that I started in life and did not finish in one try, but I did not give up. I fell down, but I got up. I dusted myself off and continued the race again. It wasn’t easy. I have encountered many hurdles on this journey of life, but to finish this race I am holding on to the hand of the Lord and of other believers in Jesus Christ. My friend, don’t quit, don’t give up. Strive to finish the race that the Lord has set before you.

We are all in a race.
The race of life.
The race is not given to the
swift nor to the strong but to
them that endure to the end.
Ready, set, go!
For some may run faster than others
focusing on the prize.
Think on it. God has called us all to
run this race, and He has given us
diverse talents and giftings.
There is no looking back.
The timer has started, and you
have been set on course.

Occupy until He comes. Let us
produce much fruit, more fruit
and fruit that will remain.
We all have a talent or gifting.
Be it singing, dancing, speaking
or playing an instrument.
You may be interested in meeting
and greeting or hospitality.
Whatever is your interest, be sure
to occupy for the Lord.

As we look at our lives, we are all in
different stages of this race.
Embrace the journey of serving
the Lord Jesus Christ.
Press forward in Jesus’ name.
There may be hurdles along the way
and obstacles to overcome, but
don’t quit. Press forward.
If you need a helping hand
don’t be afraid to ask.
Steer the course.
We are here to help
each other, and most of all
God is there holding our hands.

Ready, set, go!
Look at the finish line!
Ready, set, go!
Let’s spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Ready, set, go!
Be bold and go forth in Jesus’ name.
Don’t be comfortable on the side lines.
Let God direct your path.
Run that race, working diligently and
faithfully for the Lord Jesus Christ.
Ready, set, let’s go!

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily: trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.
