A cup of tea with a woman's hand holds a Bible open to the book of Job with an image of the words "I know that my redeemer lives.

Is God there? Where is He in some of the things that I go through or even what others may go through. Sometimes I would doubt and question like this, but I am reminded that God is in control of the entire world. He’s in control of everything. Nothing takes him by surprise. He was there in the past, He is here in the present and He will be there in the future.

Who can say that God is not in control?
Just because you woke up this morning and
drew another breath of air. Just because of the
existence of the heaven and the earth, we know that
God is in control.

We see so much destruction in the world.
Feel such heartache and pain. So many times
we try to make two ends meet but can’t.
We are faced with bad news which causes us to cry.
Let’s dry those tears.

Whatever it may be, we have to know and believe
that God is in control and He is always there.
Minds may waver, questioning if God is
present in some of life’s situations. But
there is no doubt. Stand confident.

God is sovereign. He does not cause bad
things to happen to us. But He is able
to turn around every bad situation.
Let’s always pray and remember that
God is in control.

Joseph was sold by his brothers.
His father thought that he was dead.
But he was preserved to save a nation.
Esther obtained favour in the sight of the King
and so was able to save the Jews from death.

Moses was saved from death. He was called to lead
God’s people out of slavery. In the past, God was there
in each of those situations. And even today,
God is able to make a way of escape
out of every hard situation.

God has your back and he
holds your life in his hands.
He says, “Surely, as I have thought, so
it shall come to pass, and as I have purposed,
so it shall stand.”1

Let us rest in God every day.
Believe upon His name.
After all is said and done
none should doubt that

God is in control.

It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.
